About The Attorney
- Educated: - Brent Peterson was raised in the North San Luis Obispo County and is a graduate of Atascadero High School. Later, Mr. Peterson graduated from UC San Diego, in the top 10% of his class, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Literature (2000). A top tier student in his law school class, Mr. Peterson earned a degree of Juris Doctor from Cal Western School of Law in 2005 and returned to the Central Coast that same year to begin practicing law. Mr. Peterson recently returned to law school to specialize in Alternative Dispute Resolution and is currently an LLM Candidate (2021) at University of Southern California, Gould School of Law.
- Experienced: - Mr. Peterson has been practicing law on the Central Coast since 2005. During that time, Peterson has effectively represented individual clients, as well as corporations and other business entities. Mr. Peterson especially takes great satisfaction in working to resolve family related disputes. His goal is to maintain the best relationships possible between the parties while finding solutions to meet the interests of each party. To further this goal, Brent Peterson Law is now offering cost-effective mediation services for family related conflicts.
- Personable: - Mr. Peterson takes a "hands on" approach to each matter in order to meet the individual needs of the clients his office serves. He feels very fortunate to have a great staff, which includes his wife, with whom he works very closely both at the office and at home with their growing family. In his off time, Mr. Peterson enjoys serving in his community, his church and surfing whenever he can.
